Tour & Group Visits
The Library welcomes groups of all ages for staff led tours of the Library’s collections or areas of interest to your group.
Your group visit should be scheduled four (4) weeks in advance to assure that appropriate staff are available to meet your group’s specific interests.
To schedule a tour:
- For adults, call the Reference Division at 508-799-1654.
- For children or teens call the Youth Services Division at 508-799-1672.
When a mutually satisfactory date and time is found, you will be asked to fill out the Library’s Tour Request Form indicating the number in your group, expected arrival and departure times and the purpose or focus of your group’s visit. A confirmation of the visit time, date and the meeting point for the tour will be sent to the designated group leader.

If members of your group will want library
cards, library
card applications must be filled
out and returned to the Library’s Circulation
Department no later than one week in advance
of your visit. If forms are incomplete, we
cannot guarantee that everyone will get a
card on the day of your visit or that they
will be able to check out materials that day.
