Use the following form to submit a question,  that can be answered with a brief, factual answer. (We are not able to do detailed research via email, but we can make suggestions for resources.)

Please note you can search the Library Catalog online for specific authors, titles, and subjects and reserve a book.

We will limit each submission to 3 questions or obituaries.

If you are requesting an obituary, you must provide the name of the deceased, the town in which he or she lived or died and the exact date of the death, month, day and year.

Due to the high number of requests and the cost of supporting this service, a donation of $5.00 per inquiry search is suggested unless you are a Massachusetts resident . Once you have received the information you requested, you may send a check payable to the "Worcester Public Library" to the attention of Business Office, Worcester Public Library, 3 Salem Square, Worcester, MA 01608.

A response will be made as soon as possible. We will attempt to respond within 48 hours. If not, we will send a status report or request clarification. If you have not heard from us within 3 days, assume we are having difficulty replying to your message. Please check for errors in your e-mail address and resend your request.  Requests from CMRLS, C/WMARS members and Massachusetts residents will be given priority.
