Returns/Overdue
Notices/Lost Items
Materials may be returned to any public
library in Central Massachusetts. Returned
items must be processed and are not
available for immediate check-out. Overdue
notices are mailed approximately two
weeks after material is due. The library normally sends overdue notices via e-mail, or by a postcard that lists overdue materials by title, or occasionally telephones. Lost and
paid items must be returned within one
year from the due date to receive a
refund. When returned, accumulated fines
from the due date are deducted. Paid
items returned more than one year after
the due date are not eligible for a
refund.
Patrons must bring their library card
to enable full borrowing. As a courtesy,
when a pratron forgets their card, two
items are allowed upon proof of identity.
BORROWING PRIVILEGES ARE REVOKED
IF LIBRARY MATERIALS ARE NOT RETURNED
IN GOOD CONDITION OR IF FINES ARE NOT
PAID.
