The Worcester Evening Post was a Worcester city newspaper founded in 1891. It was a more democratic (both politically and socially), ethnic and working class paper than the Worcester Telegram or the Evening Gazette. Many patrons use this newspaper in researching their family's history. To make the paper more accessible to this type of search, we have begun an indexing project that lists births, deathes and marriages in alphabetical order by surname, the date the notice appeared in the newspaper and page number if available.
