RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a way of viewing your own selection of the latest news, and other website content, updated in real time, and in a single window. You select the websites you'd like to keep up-to-date with, and their content is automatically delivered to your desktop, as soon as it is published.
How do I start using RSS feeds?
- You will need a "rss reader". This is a small software program that can either stand alone or is embedded in a browser. You select RSS feeds in the news reader, either by "drag and drop", or by cutting and pasting the RSS URL into your news reader.
- Worcester Public Library currently offers one RSS feed; from our web page
